Standard Driving Service

Since 1952 Auto Driveaway has provided a safe and economical driving service. Our Standard Service will have us pick up your automobile at the place and date of your choosing with few exceptions. The vehicle will then be held by our closest office until we match a driver who is traveling to the area you would like your vehicle delivered.

The delivery timeframes range for the Standard Service depending upon many variables including the time of year, origin, destination, weather, etc. The average between most points is 2-4 weeks from the time you place the order. The variable comes in the time between the pick up date and when the proper driver is secured. Actual drive times are pre-established, usually about 300 miles per day.

The Standard Service is the most economical method of transporting an automobile. The rate you will be quoted is essentially all-inclusive. You are not responsible for the driver's personal expenses or fuel. The only additional expense would be the rare case in which a vehicle would require a repair en route. Owners are expected to have their vehicles ready for the trip as if they would be driving it themselves. All repairs would be reimbursed after the owner is presented with the proper receipts. Any major repairs will involve consultation with the owner prior to the repairs being done.
